We are a chosen (called out) group of people. Called by God to become holy as He is holy. To have dominion over the Earth, as originally planned. Which means to reestablish heavenly living on Earth. We accomplish this by denouncing sin. Enduring the sanctification process, which is purging worldly living out of our lives and replacing it with kingdom living.
We run into an issue when we use the sanctification process as a crutch to sin. Our sanctification period is not an excuse to stay in sin but a bridge to holiness. Let’s not miss holiness by clinging to the comfort and familiarity of sin nature. There’s more God wants to do through and for us. But our lifestyles must align with His will. And the road to living in His will is sanctification.
