Often, we regard God as if He were human. Forgetting that His ways are not like our ways, and His thoughts are not like our thoughts. We are spirit wrapped in the flesh, but He is divine. Confused by our enemy and our flesh, we think God condemns us for our shortcomings. But NO, HE IS GOD!
His word never returns to Him void even when ours does. His promises will come to pass even when ours does not. If He said it, He will do it even when our words fail. He knows when we made the vow; we would not complete the task. Yet He blesses us anyway.
The enemy of our souls uses failure as a way of keeping us from moving forward in Christ. Do not stop moving forward because there are areas of weakness to overcome. Speak to your challenges, and the devil and declare, “I am not what I vowed to be, but I love God and He loves me, and I will keep moving towards my divine purpose.”
Prayer:
Oh God, my God, excellent is thy name in all the Earth. Thank you for forming me in my mother’s womb and planting purpose within me. Please forgive my faults and protect me from the accuser. Holy Spirit, I ask you to remind me constantly there is purpose within me. Strengthen my spiritual walk so that I may avoid the pitfalls of my flesh. Remind me of who I am in the spirit, and whose I am in the kingdom. Speak to me about the royal priesthood that adopted me and that I have dominion over the Earth and the fallen angel. Hold me in safety, impart wisdom, and cast down every fear.
